It's been cold, drizzly and sodden for several days now, and my only option for painting in nature was to sketch and paint one of my planters from the door of the balcony. Rain, rain, go away!!

I finally finished the watercolour for last week's boat drawing. One of the toughest things to do is anticipate how light the watercolour will dry, and try not to overwork the pigment... Still trying!

My preliminary sketch for today's watercolour ended up taking me most of the afternoon. Suffice it to say, drawing boats is not my forte!
