I've decided to take part in fellow artist Jake Parker's art challenge, INKtober. The idea is to create an inked art piece for each day in October (or as regularly as you can), then post it online and link it on Twitter (#inktober). There's some pretty fantastic stuff out there already!

I was itching to paint the intense sunshine in this scene. My reference was a photo I took on a sunny, warm day at Heritage Park (about twenty degrees Celcius ago):
